The Backyardigans gang – Pablo the penguin, Tyrone the moose, Uniqua the purple-spotted creature, Tasha the hippo, and Austin the kangaroo – are five high-spirited preschool friends whose zany imaginations are whisking them on yet another epic adventure!

Based on Shaw's play and Pascal's movie "Pygmalion," with book music and lyrics by Lerner and Loewe, MY FAIR LADY is triumphant. With "Wouldn't It Be Loverly?" "With a Little Bit of Luck," "I Could Have Danced All Night," "Get Me to the Church on Time" and "I've Grown Accustomed to Her Face," it's no wonder everyone – not just Henry Higgins – falls in love with Eliza Doolittle. The show's 1956 Broadway production was a smash hit, followed by a hit London production, and a popular film version starring Audrey Hepburn-which won eight Academy Awards. It has been called "the perfect musical."

Mark Godden’s choreographic genius brings us an explosive new look at the original master of mind control. RWB’s newest creation takes its inspiration from a film treatment born of the fevered imagination of international film sensation Guy Maddin.

Yearning for public recognition, Svengali escapes the repression of his mother’sballet studio to a decadent world reminiscent of mid-century Weimar, where he finds the beautiful and malleable young dancer, Trilby. Under Svengali’s entrancing influence, Trilby is transformed into the darling of the ballet world, but her star ultimately rises beyond Svengali’s powerful emotional grasp.

This complex psychological drama will unfold with riveting choreography by the creative powerhouse behind RWB’s Dracula, and shades of Maddinesque irreverence, as Svengali’s family secrets and sinister purposes are revealed.
