Fair
The Rockton World's Fair has grown tremendously since 1852. There truly is something for

The Mum ShowThe 2011 Chrysanthemum Show - a fall festival for the entire
family! The Chrysanthemum Show is an amazing floral display created by some of Hamilton's
finest Horticulture Staff. The display will be breathtaking featuring over 100
varieties of Chrysanthemums and over 75,000 blooms!
Visitors will enjoy wandering through the "gallery", enjoying the
"art" as they go. The show featvures trade show booths for the
gardening enthusiast as well as an educational house and a delightful tea room.

The festival has literally something for everyone
the Canadian Aboriginal Music
Awards, Education Day, amateur Lacrosse Skills Competition, music and performing arts

Hamiltons Annual Winterfest

Hamilton Winterfest is an annual celebration sponsored by the City of Hamilton, supported
by great corporate citizens and organized by many hard working volunteers. Events are
family oriented and are a great way to beat the winter blues. Events are FREE for
spectators with some activities charging a registration fee for participants. When you
come out to Winterfest events make sure you look for CHIMO - the Hamilton Winterfest
mascot and some of his friends.

Hamilton's Kidsfest
Canadian Warplane Heritage MuseumThe semi-annual Hamilton's Kidsfest will take place
Family Day Weekend, February 19 to 21 at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum.
Approximately 40,000 sq. ft. will be transformed into Canada's Largest Indoor Inflatable
Playground, plus all the interactive and hands on displays of the Canadian Warplane
Museum.
The show hours are 10-5. Admission is $18 for an all day ride bracelet, $10 for non-ride
admission. Two and under are free. Parking is free. Admission also includes the Canadian
Warplane Heritage Museum exhibits.

Pride Week 2011
For one week every June, the Hamilton Pride Festival showcases and celebrates the
wonderful diversity of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer communities
through cultural activities, fundraising events, social occasions, a rally in the city
core, and a parade. The festival includes outstanding entertainment, a buzzing vendors'
market, food and beverages, and so much more! Many of the events during Pride Week,
including the festival event, are accessible to youth and we are very pleased to be
welcoming more families with each passing year. |

Mobility Cup 2011
Burlington Sailing and Boating Club and The Royal Hamilton Yacht Club
The Mobility Cup is a truly international event, with competitors from across Canada and
the United States; from Europe and as far away as New Zealand taking part every year. It
is also a truly inclusive event, open to anyone with a significant disability, regardless
of his or her sailing experience. The Mobility Cup is recognized as Canada's international
regatta for sailors with disabilities. Through the use of innovative technology, Canada
has become a leader in making sailing accessible to people living with severe
disabilities. |

James Street North, from Cannon to Burlington, will be closed to automobiles, and open to
a festival of people walking, cycling, rollerblading, watching demonstrations, trying a
new activity, listening to music and bands, or shopping in the various shops and

Streets Passport to fill out throughout the day to guide you to all the events and for a
