Open Thursdays 10 a.m.-3 p.m., To October 4, Rain or Shine
Lakefield Farmers’ Market
www.lakefieldfarmersmarket.net
After two great seasons, the Lakefield Farmers’ Market returns this spring with the same high quality fresh produce, preserves, baked goods, honey, prepared foods and handcrafted artisan items that the residents and visitors to Lakefield have come to expect. Of course, we’ll also offer the same welcoming atmosphere, and lots of interactive fun for the whole family.
This year’s market runs every Thursday, May 17(Victoria Day) to October 4 (Thanksgiving), 10am – 3pm, rain or shine. Located behind the Lakefield-Smith Community Centre, the Lakefield Farmers’ Market is steps away from Isabel Morris Park, the Lakefield Marina, Millenium Trail and Queen Street, and is accessible by boat, car, or on foot.
The Lakefield Farmers’ Market is the only local farmers’ market whose agricultural vendors are all verified by MyPick®, a service of Farmers’ Markets Ontario. This means that all the produce that you buy at our market is being sold to you by the farmers who grow it, not by resellers. Even better, those farmers come from within a 100 km radius of Lakefield. As a result, you get the freshest, tastiest produce out there.dollars you spend when you buy agricultural produce at the Lakefield Farmers’ Market go directly to the farmer and stay in our local agricultural economy. The stronger our local agricultural economy is, the more secure our food system will be, both now and in our children’s future—what’s not to like about that? |

As a result, you get the freshest, tastiest produce out there.dollars you spend when you buy agricultural produce at the Lakefield Farmers’ Market go directly to the farmer and stay in our local agricultural economy.
